Replacement was probably not due till 85,000 kilometres
But I love an engine that breathes well ☺
All you need is the original part, a Phillips screwdriver, and a little patience
Gently loosen the 8 screws but do not remove them (shown below)
Gently tilt and lift the cover
And slide out the old filter
Clean the box where the old filter was removed from
Comparing the old and the new filters
When replacing the filter, the gasket of the filter should be seated firmly all around (please see below)
Then cover and tighten the screws gently
